TEAM PARENT DUTIES

Thank you for volunteering to serve as your team’s TEAM PARENT! Your role contributes significantly to the successful running of our youth soccer program in the Saline community, and your willingness to help out and support your coach and team is greatly appreciated!

Listed below are some suggestions for roles which you can assume that will contribute positively to your team’s experience this season. You should discuss these roles with your team’s head coach before the season begins to determine those for which you will be responsible.
 

  • Volunteer to make phone calls for the coach when necessary for scheduled trainer sessions, cancelled games or practices.

  • Plan and distribute your team’s half-time and after-game snack and drink schedule if your team decides to offer snacks. Snack is not required.

  • Ensure that your team leaves the field and surrounding area in pristine condition - ready for mowing!

  • Collect any leftover items from your practice or game field and act as your team’s lost and found coordinator.

  • Perform other administrative or operational functions for your team agreed upon by you and your coach.

  • Varies from season to season: Assist with your team’s t-shirt order sizing, any optional merchandise order or fundraising forms. Collect forms and payment, if necessary, and turn in by deadline.
